Landscaping the front yard

Posted on 23 September 2009 by admin

I’ve lived in my house for a little over a year and a half now. The only real things I’ve done to the yard were cut the field of crabgrass down, pull some trees in the backyard, grade it a little with the bobcat. . and that’s about it. The front yard suffered from my lack of funds to do anything substantial to it, but I guess I could’ve done this a long time ago.

I’m working at redoing the front yard card, complete with new fence and gate for front driveway and a few new trees + grass-seed. I started by pulling the scraggly old pepper tree that littered the entire northern part of the front yard with leaves and pepper. That really cleared it up a lot, then we pulled the remaining stump from the other pepper tree cut down last year.

Anyways, on to the pics. I’ll update this post with further pictures and explanations of the work done. This is my personal “build thread” for my yard. I know, such a nerd. lol
