I’ve always wanted to write a book, so I’m doing it.
The plan is to have it done within the next month. From start to finish. It’s currently underway and I currently have the outline, toc, and basic research done. It will be around 200-300 pages and hopefully not too boring for a tech guide. The goal is to keep it entertaining.
For a long time I’ve enjoyed the blogging, but have always been too busy to keep up with it, and often too concerned with strategy to share much in regards to business.
Writing some books as time goes on will allow me a way to structure thoughts on different topics and put them out there for others to (hopefully) enjoy and benefit from. Seems like a fun and rewarding side project.
This first book will just be a nonfiction technical guide. It’ll be focused on the Apache Web Server and will be released within the next month or two. Plan is to release it in both Kindle format as well as Print shortly after.
If you’d like to give it a read-through and help with the editing process, I’d be happy to send you a free copy to check it out. I’d also be interested in talking with you if you’ve published a book in the past and have any tips or advice on the process. Give me a shout by visiting my contact page.
